ALEXANDER MICHAEL REEVES

Alexander Michael Reeves (They/He), is a former foster kid, who is trans* masculine, non-binary, and disabled (autistic, type one diabetic, ADHD and dyspraxia). Reeves is an Educator, Actor, Singer, Vocal Coach, and Advocate. Alex currently teaches singing, acting, trans femme, and trans masc vocal lessons with the international trans voice company; "Your Lessons Now." He also works as a teaching artist, mentor, performer, and the production assistant for a Neuro-inclusive theatre company in Brooklyn, NY, "EPIC players."  Some of Alexander Michael's favorite acting roles include; Tigger (House at Pooh Corner), Duke (The Great American Trailer Park Musical), and The Emperor (The Emperor’s New Clothes).

Reeves graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Theatre and a minor in Musical Theatre from Western Kentucky University (2018). During his undergraduate studies he graduated with over 220 credit hours in different areas, including some masters coursework in special education. Reeves studied many topics including acting, dance and movement, musical theatre, music theory, vocal and instrumental music lessons, and autism and inclusion. During his time at university, Alexander Michael was a member of the honors theatre fraternity, Alpha Psi Omega. Alexander also worked directly with the Kelly Autism Program at Western Kentucky University as an advocate, mentor and consultant for and with the autistic community.

Alexander Michael has taken part in several acting and industry intensives including; The Gaiety School of Acting (Summer 2016), Dublin, Ireland; West End On Demand (Summer 2016), London, England; Rock the Audition w/ Sheri Sanders (2018-2019), Online; and Lights! Camera! Access! Hollywood online Summit (2020). Alexander currently has many successful private voice studio students who are performing various productions including, but not limited to; Drunk Shakespeare, Network television, and various regional theatre productions across the country.

  • Alexander Michael currently works with "Your Lessons Now" teaching singing, acting, speaking, trans femme, and trans masc voice lessons.

  • Alexander Teaches Singing Voice Lessons, open to the public at any level. Contact me for more information.

  • Alexander is currently working as a mentor, advocate, teaching artist and as the production assistant at EPIC Players NYC.

  • Alexander is a lead acting teacher; teaching Improv to elementary school aged children with Irondale.

  • Alexander is recently vocal coached Epic Players fall 2022 cabaret which performed in Manhattan at Joe's Pub at the Public Theatre.

  • Alexander recently performed in a Masquerade cabaret with Epic Players Oct 22, 2022 in Manhattan at Joe's Pub at the Public.

  • Alexander recently traveled to Providence Rhode Island August 8th-14th, 2022 to work on development of a new theatre piece highlighting neurodivergent performers. 

  • Alexander vocal coached at Epic Players to assist with their summer showcase on July 30th 2022 in Brooklyn, NY. 

  • Alexander will be featured with the company of Epic Players at the Lincoln Center in NYC for a sold out show on April 3rd, 2022. 

  • Alexander Michael has partnered with Epic Players to create and perform a Narrative Piece about being trans and autistic in todays world. Performing Online March 8th, 2022.  

  • Alexander Recently joined the Tennessee Stage company in their Drunk Shakespeare production of the Merry Wives of Windsor as Sir Hugh Evans (Spring 2022)

  • Alexander Michael Recently collaborated in writing process and the devision of a Pandemic Play called "Heal My Bones."

  • Alexander performed in a Villains cabaret at Joe's Pub in Manhattan with EPIC PLAYERS. (Fall 2021)

  • Alexander Recently was added as a member of the professional company at EPIC PLAYERS in NYC. (Fall 2021)

  • Alexander Michael recently collaborated with Transpose: An All Trans Cabaret as a featured soloist and "Jesus" in Godspell. (November 2021)

  • Alexander Michael recently collaborated with The Trailblazers Collective and performed a solo piece, self written, about identity. (December 2021)
